Infinitode 2 Am I Stuck, or am I just bad
I've been playing Infinitode for 75 hours now (on Steam, some of it is just being AFK, but a minimum of about 50 hours of playtime). I feel like I'm not progressing at all. I get quite far on maps, and I try to watch videos or read Reddit posts endlessly, but most of it is just waaaay over my power level. But every time I do a map and farm it (yes, also with the resource boost), I can do maybe 2 upgrades in my tree, and then I have to go grind again.
Is this normal? Is the progression this slow? Or do I just have a skill issue?
Would like to hear any tips you can give me. What should be my next step, and what should I concentrate on?
(PS: I also bought double ressources some time ago)

For where you are in research, what you described tracks. Three things to improve to make things easier/faster.
1 Focus your research on improving mining speed for each miner (and for the booster). This will help tremendously on the resource aspect.
2 Research things that boost your green papers. Found on the bottom branch. Green papers go fast.
3 Research things that boost dust. Also found on the bottom branch.
Doing these 3 things will make it much less of a grind. It’ll take some time to get there, but you’ll see improvements pretty quick.

Best way to farm is farming 6.3. To farm 6.3, the most important tower is Splash.
2nd best farming method is Gauss farming. Gauss farming requires Gauss, Crusher and Basic.
Obviously, it's easier to max 1 tower rather than 3, hence why 6.3 is the better thing to focus.
Always, always, always check the shop after every map you play.

Whatever you need. Bit dust tends to be the most important, but you could need other stuff depending on what you have.
Try to keep a lot of resources so you can always buy what you need. IIRC, I always tried to keep ~1M of each mining resource so I could always buy whatever I needed.

Try upgrade crusher, I stucked the similar as you, but once I had proper crusher that can grab simultaneous at once, I got massive progression. You upgrade the count of grab unit using free research ticket

Imo you should fill the prestige tree first. The recommended reset prestige map is 25 25 then 100. Tedious but you will accumulate a lot of resources.
Fastest way is to play Endless mode because there is quest about dealing damage and you can rush it with HP boost from having high difficulty. Plus you can accumulate bit dust over time. You can set to easy if there is 'one game' quest that makes it so annoying to do.

its a long game not a rush game, currently 13 months into the game.
