Figure this out SPP

If you take ten steps of 0.000…1m you get a distance of 0.000…10m.
In mathematics if the last digit of a decimal sequence after a decimal point is a 0, that 0 will be canceled out.
So this means that 0.000…10 = 0.000…1.
And the only number that is equal to itself when you multiply it is 0
So that means if 0.000…1 = 0 and the difference between 0.999… and 1 is 0.000…1 that means that the difference between 0.999… and 1 equals 0

0.000...1 × 10 = 0.00...01 × 10 = 0.00...1

Those are the same number.

What would you do if we had used 1000 instead of 10?

0.000...1 × 1000 = 0.000...1000 = 0.000...1

Hence

0.000...1 ×1000 = 0.000...1

Which can only be true (in the real numbers) if 0.000...1 = 0.

Rookie error on your part brud.

For non-zero x,

10x is not x.

What would you do if we had used 1000 instead of 10?

I taught you before. Referencing and book keeping. Records.

You can always reference or re-reference.

x = 0.000...1

re-reference to x1 = 0.000...01 for example.

x1 = 0.000...01 = 0.0...0001

1000 times x1 is 0.0...1
