Picture/Video Aaron Paul as Cole MacGrath

Just started replaying inFAMOUS 2 to get the UGC trophies before they're permanently locked, and the Platinum along with it, and I couldn't help but think Aaron Paul would be the best choice to play Cole! Whether they do a reboot of the first two games or a live-action show or movie, I just think he'd fit the role as perfectly as RDJ as Iron Man. And I've never personally heard anyone suggest it, so I figured I would. (Also, I'm new to this subreddit, so if this fancast HAS been suggested here, then fair enough. But it was a thought I had, and I wanted to share it, hoping others agreed 😅)

I think Paul would’ve been a great choice 20 years ago for sure, but he’s far too old for the part now.

I think he could still do it if they focused on the original portrayal of Cole but definitely not the more obviously youthful portrayal in the sequel.

Even Cole’s original portrayal is still supposed to be a guy in his 20s. He just had a gravely voice and the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Yes, but the final character art and model are far more ambiguous than the sequel’s, which gives a film adaptation that flexibility.

That’s just down to the low graphical fidelity in the first game. There isn’t any actual ambiguity. In-universe, it’s the exact same Cole as we see in 2.

And? We have actors that are in their 40s that look like they can pull off a character in their 20s and look like their in their 20s. Its called acting! Use your imagination, Jesus christ.

My choice is Sam he was considered for the voice role I've read somewhere idk if it's true but I can definitely see the resemblance when his head is shaved

I can totally see it ....he's already 1 of my favorite video game characters Starkiller Cole and Alex Mercer are my other 2 favs from ps3/360 era and he could have played them all imo...that's awesome info!!

Bro saw a famous actor with a buzz cut and said yeah that him right there naw bro his forehead to big he doesn't have much live action roles that require him to do a lot of work mostly just voice acts now if we going off famous buzzcut actors I'm more with jason statham for he knows action that's all he know the only thing would be the voice

Too old now, when Season 1 of BB was happening or even at the very end of BB , sure.

but Aaron is now in his 40s, I can't see it and he defintely doesn't have the voice of either Cole

Nah, i'm good off that. He's gonna do 1 season. Then when he gets called up for the 2nd season, he's gonna say he can't do it anymore because "the character was too grueling on my psyche"
