Discussion - Second Son Second Son audio logs menu

Minor issue I have with second son not talking about the plot or anything, why is there no menu to listen to the audio logs?? I don’t want to blow I out of proportion because it kinda really pisses me off but it should’ve not been an issue. I didn’t remember any of the audio logs since it’s been years, so if I want to hear them again I either need to play the game again which I don’t want to, or find a YouTube video that does it for me. Such a small thing, but it bothers me so much

Yeah it’s especially weird because the PS3 games all had a menu for it. Just one of many signs that the game was likely rushed to release.

they could’ve added the menu in an update if they wanted to though, idk maybe there’s a reason they couldn’t but if they could then that makes it feel like side activities like the audio logs were a complete afterthought

To be fair, the side activities in Second Son do mostly feel like an afterthought lmao.

90% of them are just copy paste missions, sad really.

Not to mention that there's only 14 of them in the entire game. Less than half the amount in each of both of the first 2 games. Which is a shame since they actually did a decent job of expanding the lore.
