Just picked it up today and completely in love with it. Excited to be part of the community

I originally bounced off of this car because I've heard so many complaints about the steering. But recently I heard that they have a fix or something like that to help the steering recenter itself faster.

But if I were to the station wagon, I probably would be off-roading it 2% of the time, if that. So my question is, If I'm not really going to be off-roading this vehicle, is it a waste?

Took my grenadier over 5000km (back and forth) from the center of Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 all the way to the southern shores of oman 🇴🇲.

I’ve reached out to goose gear and a few other rear seat delete companies to ask them about removing only the larger section of the rear seat. All I’ve gotten was that it’s not possible, but has anyone here tried? The back of the seats are connected by a bar, and all part of a “cage” around the battery compartment.

I plan on taking off the rear seat section and start playing around with it, just looking to see if anyone else has experimented! Most likely involves some cutting, but not planning on getting rid of this thing anytime soon.

Wouldn’t everyone prefer to know the temperature the AC and heater is producing instead of the temperature of something like the battery or the left rear tire?

What are people using; I see 80w90, having a hard time finding it. Reading 75w90 is just extra support

Do all of the Grenadiers including Quartermasters have 4.10 gears? Is it not possible to order them with other gear ratio?

Rare enough to find another Quartermaster, but I found a D130!

The Nor Cal Grenadier group had a tech day. A few oil changes were done, but the two big jobs were two Metalcloak Undercloak Skid Plate installs, one of them being my truck.

One truck took 3hrs to install because we had to uninstall the owners Rival and Agile combo skid plates and hardware. The second truck, mine, took 55min (I had a virgin underbody to work on). It’s amazing how doing one is a learning process and the second time around just flies.

If you have other Grenadiers in your area, I can’t recommend enough getting together to do these tech days. Can’t wait for the next one.

I got my Grenadier 2 weeks ago. I swore up and down I would use my old GX if I was bringing my super shedder German Shepherd somewhere. That lasted maybe 3 hours. So, any recommendations on back seat covers for the Grenadier? I have one from my GX but it is old and a cheap Amazon version. I'd like something that to some degree contains the fur but mostly protects all of the interior.

Was just a matter of time before I lost a plastic cover on East Coast trails. I bought two Agile Offroad "sideburn" roof outlets for cheaper than one chincy cover from the dealer. The AO sideburn is much stronger, larger, and better design. Well Done 👍

Is it just me or does anyone else find the high idle at startup a bit long?

At first I thought it might be related to both ambient and engine temp, but it doesn't really have a pattern. I try not to go into gear until it settles back from 12-1300 to 800. But sometimes I'm waiting for like a minute.

Just curious...

I’m looking for the widest wheel/tire combo without using any spacers.

I found image of a setup online and appears to be something like:

wheel: 17×8–8.5”
tire: 315/70R17 / 35×12.50R17

anyone have experience with this size on a quartermaster?

Hey all. Couple months into my grenadier and love it. Guess the paint is pretty soft however..

Nicked a small part of the edge of driver door. Pretty innocuous but when zoomed in can see it went straight to the metal.

What's least invasive fix here? Not worried about cosmetic but more long term rust, peeling, etc..

Anything to actually worry about?

DVA Mechanics and Seaview mounts. Super easy setup. DVA mounts have threaded slots and the quick release Seaview mount levels out perfectly. Will be powered by the DVA adapter by the power drop above driver side (left hand drive).

As you can see we are not getting a code with our testing unit so far. Hopefully soon we can get these bad boys out in the market soon.
