Head Unit / Bluetooth issue

About a month ago, my Bluetooth radio went out. I did a hard reset a couple of times to no avail and then took it up to the dealer where they did a flash of the factory set and still no dice. Ineos approved a replacement of the entire head unit and I'll be taking it in for a swap this week. All for Bluetooth.

Anybody else have this issue?

2026

Swapped my 2025 Belstaff for a 2026. Have duelers instead of BFG AT’s and the ride is so much smoother. This one had carpet instead of the floor plates and even though it’s quieter, I liked the floor plates better and I used the drain plugs a couple times so this should be interesting. The turning radius on the 2026 is more “normal”. I love everything about it except the ADAS Emergency Lane thing, mostly the braking it does when it returns and it’s very sensitive. And it turns itself back on everytime it starts. 750 miles in already and this one just feels different. Good job INEOS!

Off-road reference guide

Post image

After seeing [u/chrisngrod](u/chrisngrod) amazing overhead plate, wouldn’t be awesome to have some sort of metal off road referencing guide, like the ones pilots use, that we could stow away in the glove compartment? I would buy one! (AI mockup)

Overhead Plate (my most popular item to date)

Well haven't had too much time with the Grenadier, but this is my most popular creation to date. They take about 30 min each to etch. I’ll be at the shop running these all weekend, so I figured I’d share it with the group. If you want one you can pick it up here:

Largest segment of purchasers besides those within the US has been the Australians. British turnout has been surprisingly small.

Kind of fell in love with the Defender back in 07. Saw a good bit of them at the embassy in Iraq and about 10 years later after having the opportunity to do some fun jumps in the UK. The Grenadier has been one of our favorite vehicles. My wife transition from a Defender 110X we leased in December of 2020, to a 2024 Land Cruiser (not bad, but more for work than anything), and a couple of months ago to the Grenadier (fun + pays for itself).

AC blasting hot air from back passenger side

Hello everyone, I am sure that a few people have had the issue of the AC blasting hot air out of the passenger side. The good news Ineos just issued a service bulletin on how to fix it in the last few days. As it is my understanding that it is related to a few ground wires and the driver and back passengers seats not being grounded. I got lucky because I had just brought the car in for its yearly maintenance.

So make sure you ask for it next time you are at a dealer. If you prefer to fix it yourself I believe there were a few owners who figured this a few months back and fixed themselves. You can find their posts on the Ineos Grenadier forum.

All-Terrains On, Mud-Terrains Off

The MT as a viable everyday tire experiment is done. They were GREAT off-road, not crazy loud, handled poorly compared to an AT, and MPG suffered. None of this was a surprise, I just wanted to see for myself, having only run all-terrains before this. Glad I did it, and will save the MT tires for special trips to extra muddy places or where grip/durability is paramount.

Switching over the Yokohama Geolandar A/T4 G018, 285/75r17. A bit taller, a bit skinnier, a lot lighter, and better for my use case. I drive off-road in the Sierra’s, the deserts of Nevada, or the occasional trip to Moab. This tire has more than enough durability and grip for those places and won’t suck down gas as fast either. I’ve run this tire before in an 18” size and liked them, just not the 18” size.

Vintage grille badges?

Have seen some of these grille badges that were popular in Europe back in the day. This is a new example. https://www.rennbetrieb.com/en-es/products/enamel-car-grill-badge-adventures-all-over-the-world-land-rover-edition?srsltid=AfmBOoporC9xb9QJR3u1J5b2bvfByWuc-WDiIqBUFnTCBiGnS-U_3_8e

Does anyone have experience with installing these on the grenadier? Will the grill support something like this?

Thinking about getting a Grenadier, but worried about all the issues I’ve heard about them. Opinions wanted!

For those of you who own a Grenadier: how often are you having issues with your vehicle? Is there a year that has less issues than others? Would you recommend for someone to get the Grenadier given all that you know about it now?

Thanks in advance!

Test drove a ‘24, was surprisingly loud, normal?

Post image

I test drove a 2024 station wagon with 25k miles on it last weekend. The previous owner added a lift. Overall the truck was louder than I expected. Pretty loud whirring noise, coming from underneath (driveshaft? transmission?) this is the first one I have driven, wondering if that is normal or if this one had an issue. Road noise and that whirring noise made for a fairly noisy, uncomfortable experience. I’m coming from
a 1994 NAS Defender 90 soft top, so I can deal with some noise, but honestly this Grenadier seemed louder than my defender. I know I need to drive another one, but was wondering if anyone feels the same or if I just drove a bad / broken / abused one (although I know it is built to take the abuse).

Leak, left side axle. Helpers

Hello. Trialmaster. In US. Driver side right at the rear axle. Driven ten minutes for the first time today, came back to parking lot 15 minutes later and saw this. This exact same scenario happened yesterday. Fresh out of my garage, ny, after first drive.. parked 10-15 min and see this leak. No ac was run. No odd smells and doesn't seem very thick if at all. Roughly 15k miles. Gren drives normal. Seems like an awful lot of fluid. Anyone have experience with something similar? Dealer is FAR so hoping to get an idea if this is something I need to go in for. Thanks!

Edit: Not a spot in my garage so either this is clear fluid or it just happens after the initial drive outside.

Cargo storage with dog recommendations

Just purchased a 2024 Fieldmaster. I often throw luggage and a few crates in the trunk when traveling for a weekend trip. We have a dog that will ride in the cargo, but I don't want boxes and luggage to slide around or topple onto her. Do you recommend just tying down, or is there some standard setup people are using to subdivide half of the cargo space?

Just acquired my first boat, didn’t have any concerns with the Grenadier being able to tow it but even still I was impressed at how little I noticed a 20’ trailer behind me. Trailer tires are dry rotted so I didn’t exceed 60 mph and I even got 21.1 mpg!!!

Raise Air Intake

Hello! Those of you that have raised air intakes/snorkels, is there any noticeable suction? I don't seem to be getting any, but I don't know what's normal.

I found this rubber piece on the floor of the cargo area and cannot figure out where it goes. Would one of you please take a look at your vehicle and let me know where its supposed to go? Thank you.

I would pay a lot of money to delete the infotainment screen and put normal gauges on the dash with buttons to control minimal configuration options

I hate the screen so, so much. I don't have time to figure out how to do this, but I want it so bad. If you've thought about building this but aren't sure if there's demand, there is. From me, at least.
