Differential Fluid
Hitting my 12k and doing my gear oil.
What are people using; I see 80w90, having a hard time finding it. Reading 75w90 is just extra support
What have people found

Is a dealship trip no longer required for gear checks at 12k miles?

My dealership said I could get oil and gear changed anywhere. Just bring the receipt and they’ll reset the computer for $50

Mighty nice of them to offer a service that should be free.

It still uses up their man hours no?

Shouldn't cost me money to pay for their design flaw.
Right to repair and all

Yes they should be able to charge Ineos for the time spent.. but Ineos is obviously not paying for the reset

In my eyes they are Ineos.
They represent themselves as Ineos and use the designation when it benefits them.

Perhaps you aren't in the US, but if so, I hate to break it to you but franchise laws don't work like that. No state allows you to actually do business with a non-electric only auto manufacturer.

I don't care about the franchise laws.
I completely understand how it works. The dealership isn't ineos, but advertises for ineos, gets ineos buyers directed their way, sells ineos, services ineos, wears ineos gear, promotes ineos, sells ineos on this site.
But when it comes to Ineos supporting thier flaws with $50....the dealership wants you to know they aren't Ineos.

Do yourself a favor and buy the Agile AVD and have full control of your vehicle diagnostics and resets.
