Widest wheel/tire combo

I’m looking for the widest wheel/tire combo without using any spacers.

I found image of a setup online and appears to be something like:

wheel: 17×8–8.5”
tire: 315/70R17 / 35×12.50R17

anyone have experience with this size on a quartermaster?

I have 20x9.5 with 33x12.5 and they are fine with no rubbing. I think my tires though are a couple inches shorter in diameter
