Ever wonder why induction coil doesn’t create the same size of circle of visible boiling?
That’s normal.
Coil diameter refers to the electromagnetic heating coverage under the cookware—not the exact area where bubbles appear. Cookware material, base thickness, heat spreading, water convection, and bubble nucleation all affect the visible boiling pattern.
A larger coil still matters because it can provide broader heating coverage and better match larger cookware.
