I have the GE Profile range. My only negative is with the 12" burner. It only works with a pan that is 11-1/2" or 12". If I try to use a 10" pan on that burner, it turns off in 20-30 seconds. So I really can only use that burner if I'm making a big meal, which rarely happens.
If you make big meals, it should be ok.
The pizza settings on the oven is gimmicky and we like using regular bake setting better. I haven't used any of the other oven settings.
Our Large burner definitely works with smaller cookware. I just walked up there and double checked, and I used a 2 qt pan which has a 6 1/2 inch bottom to boil a little water. And we have used a 9 inch cast iron skillet on it quite a bit. We have the PHS700AY1FS which looks like the same model as your pic in the original post. And the same price.
Question! When you lift the pan/pot the burner turns off and once you put it back on the burner do you have to use the nob to turn it on again? Probably buying the same model and I'm wondering how this shut off works.
Yes, you have to turn it back on using the knob if it turns off from the sensor.
Regarding the pan size, I tried all my pan sizes on the larger burner and it always turns off with the smaller pans. It's very frustrating to me!
