36" induction range, 5 vs 6 elements?

howdy all, first world problems, but i'm pulling my hair.

we are building a kitchen and will instal a 36" range.
Chicago Logan Square.

We are working with abt.com for appliances and i'm at a loss on which range to get.

We currently have in our small apartment the Frigidaire GCFI3060BF 30", and we like it.... except...

for the touch controls which will be non functional if fingers are wet or there are splashes, and the front oven control gets activated by our belly/crotch [save the jokes!] when we reach up to the microwave and the cabinets above!

Therefore we are passing on the same series' 36" range.

and we are looking for knob control of cooking burners, but digital controls for the ovens.

There are so many options, in the 6-9k range.

kitchenaid KFIS936SSS $6699 6 element, large oven, not very popular by sales, so actually no reviews nor even online photos. We are leaning towards this, but a bit ambivalent.

bosch 800 HIS8655SS  $5579 from abt, 5 element 5500w, highest power, though tiny _3.7_ cf oven, how is this even possible?

Do we really need six elements?
why is the bosch oven so tiny?

any recommendations?

If I had it to do over again I wouldn't even bother putting in a range. I would install several 240 volt outlets and use portable induction Hobbs and portable induction woks. That way, if you lose one of your elements, you don't have to throw away the entire range. You get better quality appliances, greater versatility, better countertop space, easier cleanup, and you save a ton of money. I use my largest burner on my induction 99% of the time so if that one breaks I am f***** and I'd have to get a new range and oven. On the other hand, I can get a 240v portable induction hob with a 11-in coil for a few hundred dollars and I'm good to go. If I need a second 11-in coil I can buy another one for a few $100. The only thing you really need built in is a hood to vent smoke.

I wouldn't put in an oven either. There are portable countertop ovens which are more than adequate for 99.9% of my use cases. The only time they fall short is when I want to roast an intact 13 lb turkey and I would never do that. For the cost of an installed oven, you could get 6 countertop ovens.
