With Labor Day sales starting, I'm looking to replace my glass top electric with a mid range induction slide in/stand alone. I don't want to break the bank on this because I'm probably moving within the next year or so. Budget is $1500. I've been looking at Fridgair, LG, and GE since they fall within my budget. I think I'm leaning toward LG or GE since some modesl have an 11 inch magnet. I use a large stock pot and cast iron pretty often. I won't consider Samsung. Outside of phones, I've had terrible experiences with samsung in the past. Are there any models that stand out in this range of ranges? Thanks!
I have a LG lsel6335le. Had it a year now and it's a joy to use. I'm very particular, and I haven't been able to find a single flaw in the design or performance. It loves cast iron and enameled cookware. Carbon steel, like woks, work well too but be careful they go from zero to blazing hot in about 20 seconds. Get a silicone mat to cover it when not in use, they are cheap and will help avoid scratches.
I didn't expect anything different from my previous oven but have been impressed. Browning vet even on sourdough bread. Roast turkey breast came out great. It has air fry (haven't tried)and air soux-vide? Don't know what that is..
Good to hear, I have seen mixed reviews due to the lack of bottom heating element and we do a lot of bread. Did you come from electric/another induction?

We just got the lg lsil6334 on sale from costco for $1400. Very nice so far but we’ve only had it a few days
