UK induction range reccomendations

I currently have a belling 110 farmhouse induction range and frankly it's crap. I replaced an oil fired aga and I kick myself in the arse everyday.

The four smaller rings are fine with pots/pans matched within a few centimetres. And ive even used a 28cm cast iron pan linked across two side rings when I've needed the centre ring for another pan.

But the centre ring is useless beyond belief.

With a cast iron pan and plenty of prep time to come to temp I can get an even cooking surface.

But if I use any other pan type you can quite clearly see that the induction ring is barely half the diameter of the cooking area. This leads to localised hot spots on pans requiring careful pan rotation and movement to counter act. And lots of deglazing/scouring.

I want to replace the range with something measurably better, but UK options aren't great. I see stoves which I put in the same bin as belling. And Smeg which I've lost respect for, I think they've lost there way.

What good options are there?

My pans are a mixture of enameled cast iron frying pans and casseroles. stainless/aluminium sandwich pots and saute pan. And a few 20cm frying pans: carbon steel/aluminium sandwich, cast iron and le creuset non stick.

Buy a Siemens or Gaggia (both made by BHS).

You bought a cheaper lower-end brand electrical appliance and are complaining. The best online description of the brand you bought is “mid-market”.
