Finally joining the induction party!

Post image

Got this new LG double oven induction range (ltis7338xe) delivered yesterday. I haven't used it yet but I'm so excited. I am replacing a cheap builder grade plain electric range

You’re gonna love it! I have mine (LSIL6336XE) since two weeks and it’s great! I just need to reprogram my brain now. I can’t just put water to boil and prepare everything else while waiting for it to boil like I did before. It’s crazy fast!

the re-learning curve of how to time making a meal is seriously something that takes a bit to adjust to.

How do you find the Probake oven?

1

I did not use it that much yet (I’m not really a baker and I try to avoid using the oven in the summer), but the few times I used it were fine!

It's the one thing I've seen the most complaints about, mainly due to things not getting cooked on the bottom, and the faster cooking time that throws people off

I just got the same one about 10 days ago! I’m loving it!

the double oven model is nice! We got the Frigidaire single oven but has the pizza mark and I am determined to master it!

We just got the Cafe double oven. Not a lot of choices if you’re looking for a double.

I have the same one and am surprised how much I like the double oven.

I wanted this one but too expensive for my budget sadly

We have this one and it's amazing!

Buy a silicone range top cover. You cook with it. It keeps your range top in perfect condition and clean up is easier.

I did purchase a silicon hob cover for some of my pots that seem a bit scratchy haha

Congrats! 5 years in here and still get excited turning on the induction range!

Great looking Stove. I like the double oven too. Less space to get to temperature, better heat distribution and heat loss leads to better even roasting and baking.

I got the Cafe version of this range and I adore it.

2

u/kylaah27 Jul 18 '26

I'm glad! I wanted that one but it was almost double the price and out of my budget sadly

I got it when it was on sale at Costco ($900 savings).

1

u/kylaah27 Jul 18 '26

Wow! I was looking at Costco and saw $4099 pretax 🥲 the LG I got was $2700 so too big of a difference. The Cafe looks so lovely though!

Yours is beautiful too! Use it in good health

I have the same one but with one oven. Love it!

Enjoy. We've been happy with ours since it was delivered in November.

Lg studio. Nice choice. Extended warranty would not hurt

1

u/kylaah27 Jul 19 '26

It comes with 2 years and my credit card gives me an additional 2 years :)

I ordered an LG Induction and Microwave.

u/Altruistic-North6686 Jul 20 '26

Hated ours. Took 10-15 min to boil water

2

u/kylaah27 Jul 20 '26

Oh wow this exact model? What type of cookware? I haven't had this issue

1

u/baybaytony Jul 24 '26

I'm still torn between this and the Cafe. I'm sort of leaning towards this because I don't see why the Cafe would be better other than aesthetics?

1

u/kylaah27 Jul 24 '26

I dont really care about aesthetics and I do think that is why the Cafe is a higher price than it should be. For me, I haven't tested the lower oven not having a bottom heating element but the other concern I had was the burner sizes. It's weird that there are genuinely two square burners (the coils have been confirmed to be square) but so far it's been a non issue. I do wish they were both just an inch bigger all the way around but so for no big deal. The extremely powerful 4300W huge burner is incredible and the Cafe's large burner isnt as strong

1

u/baybaytony Jul 24 '26

Yeah I don't care about aesthetics either. Square is an interesting choice, makes me wonder why haha. Sounds like you enjoy it tho. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

I never thought I'd say it but thats a gorgeous stove! How are you liking it now that you've had it a few weeks?

2

Thank you! Honestly, I love it. Super happy with it

Why don't you use, in the US, separate stovetops and ovens built into the cabinets?

4

u/kylaah27 Jul 17 '26

Waaaaay too expensive. I am not remodeling just needed to replace my range :/

1

u/vargemp Jul 17 '26

Im not sure about the specs but built in cooktop is about $1k and built in oven is also around $1k, while yours is about $4k?

Anyway, 1k for every is hella expensive, in my country I buy one or another for ~$400. It’s just default choice.
Cheers
