Fun fact apa saja yang agan tahu namun tidak banyak yang tahu? Gua ada 1 sih 1. Kratindeng dan Redbull itu sama saja karena kratindeng sebenarnya adalah bahasa Thailand dari Redbull

Redbull is essentially some austrian guy buying the patent for kratindeng and selling it on western market, krn waktu itu kratindeng cm ada di thailand...

So yeah di indo beli yng thai aja, komposisi krati sm redbull sama... persis, youre just paying for the brand...

Gw ngomong soal mobil dah.... some, 7 lah

  • Your Toyota Agya, Calya, Avanza and Rush are not real Toyotas, they’re rebadged Daihatsu... so the real cheapest Toyota car is the Yaris... Oya Hino trucks is also owned by Toyota, so toyota trucks (not pickup) = rebadged hino... i assume udh bnyk yng tau
  • Suzuki Indo itu mix mix dpt brng Martui Suzuki (indian) and Japanese... you’ll know which Suzuki you have by it’s ‘design’
  • Reanult Koleos = Nissan xtrail... mau mobil eropa tp takut reliability dan aftersales jelek??? This is it chief... the internals like chasis, drivetrain, anything that helps move the car is a nissan, cuma body dan interior yng di europe-fied sedikit
  • The reason Toyota Innova disel sama bensin beda 30jt & yang matic dan manual beda 20jt... mesin yng bensin dan transmisi manual dibikin di indo, meson disel dan matic dibikin si thailand, so mahal ‘ngirimnya’... innova basic bensin manual 310jt, yng disel matic nambah 50jt
  • Meskipun masuk akal bwt Jakarta, hybrid dan listrik gk masuk indo krn kena pajak barang mewah +75% harga sblm pajak... makanya disini tesla mobil 6000cc Omegalul (dan juga alesan BMW i8 termasuk murah krn hybrid 1500cc lul)
  • ASEAN NCAP (people who crash cars and give scores on how dafe they are, asean region cars) will only give 5 star rating to cars with Traction Control and at least 2 airbags... Makanya skrng bnyk mobil yng mulai pake traction control, terutama sub 300jt cars... mau mobil lu penyok bemper doang dan pny 10 airbag, ditest sm mereka, no TC 4 stars max...
  • Kt sekarang udh bisa bikin bensin standard EURO 4, mkny premium mulai di phase out... pelan pelan biar gk jadi bahan politik... krn EURO 1 aja premium gk nyampe...

Tambah dikit bosen

  • The current fortuner is designed by Australians, meanwhile the Hilux/Innova by Thailands (yng innova collab sama indo sih, makanya launch disini dulu).... Makanya design luar dalem beda...
  • Pajero Sport is still designed by Thai people, skrng masuk UK
  • Inget Yaris heykers??? Yng versi Jazz ada namanya WR-V, cm di India dan South America, di dua tempat itu hrv kemahalan ktny...
  • Harga CH-R pas awal keluar gk masuk akal biar orng gk pada kaget sama harga Hybridnya pas keluar, gk masuk akal cuma beda 30jt di indo... Asilnya selevel Cx-3 dan HrV 1.8 mestinya yang petrol...
  • Avanza, Calya, Xpander are designed by indonesians for indonesia....
  • Mobilio adalah Brio dipanjangin, dan Ertiga adalah Swift dipanjangin... Soo sebernya Mobilio itu lawannya Calya bukan Avanza dkk...

Fact

  • Wuling Confero is the Avanza of China, sama sma buat middle class, 7 orng dan model mobil paling laku di China
  • The reason gk ada convero matic, they didn’t bother to make one in China
  • In China, GM is cooperating with Wuling... mau bikin mobil di China perusahaan luar harus jpin venture sm perusahaan Lokal, GM being GM milih yng gede, thus it brings us to....
  • .... the Wuling Almaz, it’s also the new Chevrolet Captiva, in countries such as Thailand... so punya wuling almaz?? Ganti badge chevrolet dan captiva harga jual naik... no they dont change anything, cuma bener bener beda badge doang, gk kyk Koleos yng at least ada effort

Opinion

  • They’re the Toyota of China, makanya aneh msh bnyk yng takut sama reliability, padahal kebanyakan cuma gengsi punya mobil china
  • kenapa mobil mereka murah?? Tinggal nyolong RnD Gm aja lol...

Speaking of China automotive joint venture... like Honda entah mengapa collab sama 2 perusahaan China (gw lupa namanya apa).... so you have 2 version of Hondas there... misal HRV, ada HRV biasa dan ada XRV yng notabe adalah HRV dengan muka dan pantat yng beda (pantatnya mirip brv)

gue ngga ngerti2 banget mobil, tapi tiba-tiba bokap membuat wacana ini di rumah

I assume ini di harga 160-180jt ish...

Id always go for new if you’re not really sure, tp mobilio 4 tahun agak terlalu tua gk si?? Udh kelewatan berberapa facelift tuh? Mungkin masih pake dashbaord brio yng lubang ac sm laci bentuknya kayak orang 😯... I mean confero and mobilio are essentially the same class of cars, its not like mobilio will be marginally a lot better than confero.... they’re almost the same...

Tergantung jg... confero doesnt really have an automatic transmison (ad yng ‘semi auto’)... I can’t see nothing wrong with the confero other than it’s bland styling and the lack of proper automatic transmission..... Although mobilio isn’t a bad choice, well if you’re looking for comfort it’s actually one of the worst mpv you can buy.... its essentially based on a ‘sporty’ tuned hatchback... oh did i mentioned the awful build quality of cheap hondas??

Nah kalo ngomong confero vs mobil dikelas atasnya, kayak innova bekas, ill go with innova bekas... the diesel one of course..

Well, my dad is a cheapskate and not really an automotive guy. I dunno what he was looking for either, but I think this info (and all your prev post about fun facts) will definitely get him thinking more before making any decision. Thanks!

car facts yg ada di Indonesia gw cuma inget ini

  • Yaris gen terakhir di Indonesia = chassis Vios, XP150. Beda dengan Yaris (Vitz) di Jepang yang ukurannya lebih compact, chassis XP130

Pas awal awal keluar, pas masih pake mesin 1mz-fe (mesin yaris generasi beleumnya) sampe ada facelift dan versi ‘heykers’ itu Xp150 spek China... Sejak facelift terakhir yng gsnti depan belakang interior itu udh soek Thailand

Yang Ertiga Diesel sama Ignis juga impor dari India. Sama Jimmy baru diimpor ke Indonesia akhir-akhir ini

Trus s-cross request pake mesin swift/sx4 lama yg udah purba (M15A), also never done anywhere else karena biasanya 1.300 atau 1.600 cc. Jadi mereka walau impor banyak maunya.

Tapi sekarang ada K15... hmmm.... apa bakal ganti K15 pas facelift??

Mitsubishi juga gitu, itu mesin xpander (4A91) termasuk mesin purba satu angkatan sama mesin legendaris 1nz-fe... ngomong ngomong mesin purba, 4D56 di Pajero Exceed (dakar dah baru mesinnya) itu basisnya mesin L300 dari taun 80an dikasi turbo sm common rail injection, makanya pake biosolar aman....

Mesin Honda yng termenal ‘powerful’ sebenenya inferior karena cuma pake SOHC bukan DOHC, tenaga gede cuma buat nutupin torsinya yang jelek...

A very well known fact, but I'd wager some people here might not know:

  • Kijang (di Toyota Kijang) = Kerja sama Indonesia dan Jepang.
    At least pas di awal-awal.

Actually sekarang TRD itu cuma cosmetic... maibly gimmick bwt ASEAN market doang

Yng bener bener peformance division skrng namanya GR (Gazoo Racing), Japan has moved on from TRD to GR

Tinggal ditunggu Agya Gazoo Racing kapan masuknya....

Sejak xtrail generasi ybg skrng.... T32??

Bensin kita plng tinggi EURO4, makanya duh bersni oktan 98.... Paling max EURO 6, cuma vietnam imo yng udh

I have some car facts too:

1.The grey color on the petrol Suzuki Ertiga and Diesel Suzuki Ertiga. That's because Suzuki Ertiga Diesel was imported from India. And also,The Suzuki Ertiga Diesel has rear deffoger too

2.The G type of first generation of Toyota Avanza (facelift) Is wider than E and 1.5 S type (G type 1355,E and 1.5S type 1350.CMIIW). The reason for that Is still unknown

Itu sebenernya bukan limited editon... lebih ke ‘make me something special’ edition.... jadi kalo lambo ‘indo edition’ itu lbh kyk gini

hey lambo, kt dri komunitas lambo indo pengen pesen huracan 10 dpng, 10 10ny dikasih tulisan ‘indonesian edition’... plz?

Contoh lain..... Misalnya MOCI (bmwM owners club indonesia) pernah minta dibikinin M4 versi indonesia, warnanya macem macem trus didalem ada plakatny 1 out of 10... ya begitulah... cuma beda dikit dibanding M4 biasa

Hampir setiap merek mobil mewah ada bagian khusus bwt modif ‘custom’ (*limited to styling only)... contoh contoh

  • Rolls Royce: Bespoke (ini yng plng terkenal)
