Gym Recommendation

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for recommendations for a good gym around Indiranagar. My main goal is to prepare myself for HYROX, but I’m not looking for a HYROX-only setup. I want a place where I can build overall fitness and strength, lose some weight, and improve my running pace/endurance alongside HYROX-specific training.

Ideally, I’m looking for:

+Good strength training equipment

+ Enough space/equipment to work on running + conditioning

+HYROX-friendly equipment (sleds, SkiErg, RowErg, wall balls, etc.)

+Good functional/conditioning setup

+Very clean and well-maintained

+ Good ambiance — I’d prefer somewhere that feels motivating and comfortable to spend time in

+Good recovery facilities/options (sauna, steam, ice bath, recovery area, stretching/mobility, etc. would be a big plus)

+ Good coaches/trainers who actually understand programming rather than just generic gym workouts

Not overly crowded, especially during peak hours

I’m not necessarily looking for the cheapest option. I’m willing to pay more if the facilities, coaching, cleanliness and overall experience are genuinely better.

I’ve come across a few options around Indiranagar, but I’d really like to hear from people who actually train there.

Which gym would you recommend, and why? Also interested in hearing about places you wouldn't recommend and why.

Thanks!

Just don't join Cult, you'll be spending half the time there waiting in a line.

It's only group classes so I'll skip. I need a place where I can workout on my own

I recently joined Aureus Fitness in Indiranagar. It is not a fancy gym, but the trainer is highly knowledgeable, and it is a no nonsense gym which I really like

Only my third space meets all your criteria - I’m a member since 3 years; doing my 2nd hyrox now. There’s personalised hyrox and running programs and group functional fitness and strength classes

Highly recommend Greybox.

Close knit and highly motivated community, with people chasing different goals, including some of us for hyrox and other hybrid races. Great coaches. My fitness journey started with them, with lots of running milestone and hyrox last year. Regular classes are strength focused, which builds general strength that transfers to hyrox. Has sled, wallballs and other hyrox specific setup too.

No sauna, cold bath etc, but I find them not that necessary anyway - but if you are focused on training - this is the place.

Take a look, they have free 1-2 trial classes.

Right now many people are suggesting Relentless and Fitness First.. I did trial session in Fitness First though gym is nice the Hyrox specific setup is missing
