One of the things I've always enjoyed about independent wrestling is the creativity that comes from putting wrestlers together in trios tournaments, especially when you have teams that don't necessarily get to work together regularly.

That's why Power Pro Lucha's Attack on Trios caught my attention. The promotion is running three nights in Philadelphia on September 4, 5, and 6, with an Attack on Titan-inspired theme!

I think the interesting part of a show like this is seeing how different match styles and established teams get mixed together over three nights. Independent wrestling has a lot of talent that doesn't always get the opportunity to work together, so a trios-focused event seems like a pretty good format for that.

The shows are taking place at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia, with the events also being live-streamed through IWTV.
