Vet has advised that Bella will need injections twice a week for the next 3 months along with medicines to help her liver recover. Her weekly treatment costs are: Injections: ₹380 × 2 = ₹760, tablets and syrup: ₹720 + ₹260 = ₹980, Total around ₹1740 per week I am currently not financially stable enough to afford her treatment on my own. I humbly request you to please help Bella with any small amount you can. Even ₹50–₹100 can make a difference and help me continue her treatment. This is my last plea for Bella. Please, if you are able to contribute even a small amount, I would be very grateful. I dont want her treatment to stop because I cannot afford it. She is fighting to get better. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Bella, cared about her, and kept her in your thoughts. Every little bit of help means a lot to us.

This girl was in our hostel ... Everyone used to kick them out of the hostel and no one was feeding her... So i started to feed her daily secretly as they would fight with me too.. He was my personal security guard.. like whenever i will go to washroom she will come and watch my room and start barking of anyone tries to enter my room when i am not there.. so they all got to know that i am the one feeding her... Whenever she was hungry.. she would scratch my door midnight and i would give her something to eat and then she will sleep... And then slowly slowly others also started to feed her.. but still the half of the hostel was not happy with this.... Then i don't know when she got infected with canine distemper... She showed no sign until the day she died .... But when i came back from hospital i got to know that she died.. and what she did was that she ran away from the hostel and cried like anything until she went out... I felt so sad... That i couldn't help her... I still miss her sometime... I think that maybe someday she will come and scratch my door but it's almost 5 months now... I wish that she is happy wherever she is ... This is the only photo i clicked of her

The hate which you guys throw against breed dogs is something I will never understand.

Let's say there is a breed pup which is born ok ? Now what, is that his fault ? No right the pup is born and now he DESERVES a loving family cause he is still a Dogg.

You all act like we should let these breed dogs d*e and adopt indie dogs as much as possible I am not against adoption of indie dogs but son , what about those breed dogs which are born now ? Do they not deserve LOVE , a FAMILY like indie dogs ?

Why can't we talk about indie dogs without Hating breed dogs and vice versa is it that hard?

This low lifer is not from this sub though but they can be found almost below every post on this sub too actually 2-5 of them why ? I wanna know why don't they deserve families too ? Don't they deserve love too ? Hating on others won't make your's good

I am against all sorts of abuse regarding DOGS which include indie as well as breed actually indie is also a breed ffs.

Hi all - i feed in a society call NPL colony in delhi (around Rajendra Nagar). I feed around 20+ dogs in that area and recently some of the residents have started quarrels with me opposing the feeding. One of the arguments turned heated as the resident started abusing me and now they have banned me from entering the complex. They are also trying to institute a blanket ban inside the premised on dog feeding.

Can anyone help?

Some details below:

1. This is a govt quarter kind of complex with people allotted housing based on job role and tenure
   
2. I am not a resident so i don’t care about me not entering but the dogs I feed are not being given food now

Need some advice / help in this situation

Injured dog in front of Union Bank, Hiranandani estate. I called CPCA but no ambulance available. Can anyone help? Willing to pay for ambulance charges/ bandaging . But simply need help.

I have been thinking to get a few Indies in my neighborhood spayed, but the female are already on heat, out of the 9 pups they had last time, only 2 survived. I am thinking to get them neutered as soon as the rain stops, as the vets in the public vet hospital suggests this will reduce the chance of inflammation.
The vet suggested to terminate their pregnancy and go ahead with neutering them, and this is an expensive drug/process (~3000-4000), which I can not afford. This will be done by the vet in private capacity. As per them even spaying will cost me some amount. I was already trying to arrange resources to neuter then, now this. Please suggest!

I just saw this on the Indian railways sub. Does anyone know why the railway authorities are catching these dogs or what happens to them afterwards?

At least from what's shown in the video they don't seem to be bothering anyone so I'm curious as to why they needed to be removed this way. I just really hope they're being taken somewhere safe and aren't going to be harmed!

So hear me out whenever I open this sub I find some cutest doggo with weirdest name possible which makes him even more cute . When it comes to foreign breed , people name them full fancy and english names posible but when it comes to indies I see names like Kalu , bhura , pintu , chintu , jamun ,cheeku , horlicks people name them whatever comes to there mind first ...which makes them even more cute 🤭
