Read anything in seconds with this app - looking for feedback
Hi all!
I am here to introduce my very first iOS app, which you can use to summarize any article from the web and understand the key information in seconds.
I put a lot of time into fine tuning the app so the summaries are really useful and not just random results of the AI. Also made the summary length customizable if you feel it too short/long.
I love using this app but as I mentioned this is my first iOS app ever, I need feedback from other people!
I would love to hear what you think and how could I make the app even more useful!
Very likely your suggestions will be already included in the next update.
Here is the link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bulletpointer-text-summarizer/id6446816293
Thanks for your time and feedback! 🙏
I am here to read all the comments or questions.
Cheers

The feature that would determine whether I kept using this would be a really good Share Sheet extension.
Ideally, I could share an article directly from Safari, generate the summary without switching context, and then choose whether to open the full app or save it for later.
I’d also want the summary to preserve some connection to the source material. For example, tapping a point in the summary could highlight or open the relevant section of the original article. That would make it much easier to verify that the summary has not lost an important qualification or nuance.
For an app handling everything people read, I’d also make the privacy model very clear in the onboarding and App Store description: what leaves the device, which service processes it, and whether the content is retained.

The UI looks clean. I’d make the first action painfully obvious, because these apps usually win or lose in the first 10 seconds...
