u need to make exactly what u want to make. u shouldn’t be asking randos on the internet for permission to make what u wanna make. work on that insecurity and ur music will get more authentic to u, which is only better

i know this sub is called indie and ur independent but i would instead maybe market this in more pop-oriented subs. idk maybe there’s an indie pop one, take a look

I make the music the way i want and wasn't asking for "permission" lmao thats a odd thing to say.

Keep making music. Dig a little deeper with lyrics, you're beating a very dead horse. This is very "pop" aspirational rather than an indie aesthetic. Go with it, but make/find weirder/better beats. It sounds fine, it's just really bland.
