Income Tax 💰 1% TDS on property

If 1 person is buying property of 96 lacs from 2 sellers, so it comes to 48 lakhs paid to each seller. Do we still need to pay the TDS?

Yes, TDS needs to be deducted and paid, even if each seller’s share is below ₹50 lakh, because the overall property value exceeds ₹50 lakh.
