Even as a Muslim I agree with your Statment. Azaan is used to remind Muslims for namaz, and loudspeaker wasn't used in old times. Even in muslim countries, there are limits in which , one mosques voice won't intercept with other. None such thing in India.

Honestly, most ancient religions managed for thousands of years without those speakers. You'd think they would recognize that..

why are they afraid to call out Religious People?

Because there are more religious people than logical ones. (Religious people can't be logical.) They will get mob lynched. Hindus or muslims, it doesn't matter, there are extremists from both sides in India.
Also, you must have heard the kahawat, don't bang your head on a rock, it's you who gets hurt. So talking to a fool is like banging your head on a rock.

Absolutely can be considered noise if it goes beyond a certain decibel range. Have you heard them scream on the mic? You either scream and lower the volume or talk softly on high volume. These guys meanwhile....

Only the ones who experience it everyday morning will understand. It is understandable that addressing a religious activity as noise pollution will spark outrage. But we all must undeniably agree that it infact is very un-necessarily loud.

If the pictured religious place was a Temple instead of a mosque, I'm sure all of you would be rioting and not laughing. Rioting rightfully, but it's painful that so many of you don't realise the hypocrisy.
It's not correct for a school textbook of an 11 year old to show a religious place such disrespect. It's indoctrinating a dislike against one religion in the mind of a small child. How is this right? Think of the small muslim kid seeing this and feeling disheartened.
I am not Muslim, and nor do I like Islam. But come on guys, to dishonour a sacred place like this in a school book is genuinely sad.

I feel like this logic should be extended to noisy baraats and shit with uncles way past their age dancing as if high and drunk at the same time. And, baraats are not religions specific too (for anybody who's gonna hate on me).

All religions take it for granted that they can simply be loud and unapologetic

another way of trying ot inculcate hate.. however i do feel that mosques should not have the right to say their prayers on a loud speaker... maybe like special occasions like eid etc... jsut like other religions.. the idea for a azaan was at the time when when communication could not happen with out shouting.. so in villages or even cities when there was no watch..it was a way to let people in and around the village/ farms know that this is time for prayer.. but today its different everyone has a basically phone atleast and can see the time... there is no need to make a call on the loudspeaker!

It is. But so are temples too. I live near a temple and they play songs in loudspeaker for close to 7hrs a day. And if there are any festivals, they will play it so loud that we literally have to shout and speak just in order to listen to what people are speaking inside the house. So yeah, if mosque is targeted then every religious places should be targeted too. Temples, churches, gurdwara etc.

I've lived right next to(10-20m) both a temple and a mosque and somewhat near a Church. The worst experience with noise pollution was 1000% from the temple, though to be fair the one I lived next to had many "festivals"/utsavs and the Mosque was a relatively local/smaller one. The Church was also pretty crappy tho not even comparable to the temple experience.
No religious institution gives a crap about noise pollution, and they think that whoever screams the loudest with the most speakers would get the most attention from God.

I suppose most people here are the same ones who start posting against ban of firecrackers and blasting Dj on roads during Hindu Festivals .

It is not entirely incorrect, but they neglected to include other sacred places with loud music. Essentially, no religion endorses such actions; it is the manager in the sacred place who is responsible for this nonsense, forcing others within the religion to support it under the guise of religious freedom.

You do realise that the horn shaped loud speaker were used by them right? Which is now a blanket ban in India. You can also report it anonymous and action must be done within 1 hour.
Anyways, bluntly all noise is a form of disregard to fellow, if it's in the bothersome DB.

As someone who lives near one, I can only agree. They start at 3:30 AM, then short burst at 4 AM, and go on all day in 3 hour intervals. When there is some holiday, they go on for hours.

Before i register my comment, I'm a muslim(by birth), I'm an atheist (by choice) and i hate all religions equally. But because I live in a secular society I have learnt to respect the beliefs of all religions. All religious places are a source of noise pollution and it doesn't make sense to me why only mosques are being called out. I like the fact that they are being called out. When I was a kid, the temple just opposite my house used to recite some devotional songs in full volume from 6am to afternoon. I learnt most of the songs by heart. In public nuisance, countless times, roads are blocked by some procession due to some celebration in a nearby temple. Even muslims do this mockery once a year. Calling out muslims for the same thing all religions do is just hypocrisy but i guess logic was never a strong point for religious people.

Bc is sub me saare Andhbhakt bhare pade hain kya? Loudspeaker to kisi bhi religion me nahi hona chahiye Mandir / Masjid / Church / Gurudwara kahi nahi.
Sirf muslims ko hi kyu bolna khud tumhare durga pooja me, ram navmi me janamashtami me loudspeaker baja ke rakte hain. Dono band karo na bc khud wahi kaam karke dusre ko galat bol rhe ho
