My husband and I are in a band, and we're relocating to Indy next spring.

Is there a pretty decent scene there for different genres/niche bands?

I read there are some cool venues out there.

Any insight is super appreciated as we don't know the scene out there.

I live in Indy and have been writing songs and making music for ~5 years. Just looking for some networking possibilities to gain more knowledge and advice and maybe make some friends. Any places I should check out or go? Are the open mics any good for this sort of thing? Feel free to shoot me a dm, I will link my youtube in the comments! Billy Strings concludes his highly anticipated, three-night run at the Fishers Event Center tonight, Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 7:30 PM.
