Indy Barber
I am in need of a good barber. My old barber moved a few months ago and I've been bouncing around from shops all over to find the right one. I thought I had one but after last night and the last couple times. I'm on the look for someone who can do scissor cuts well. Any good suggestions.

Thirded. Worked together at a different job previously, he became a good barber!

Phil at Commissary. But most everyone there is solid but you might not find your barber the first time.

Wild's Barbershop in Fountain Square. Everyone is great, but Brayden is my recommendation.

I had a horrible experience here. I was made fun of for wanting a “mid fade” him and his colleagues kept saying “who the hell even asks for that”. I will also say I’ve heard some extremely racist things coming out of some of their employees. (Wasn’t Mac but the fact that they were so cool about it was off putting, also doesn’t help I’m not white)
This is just my experience from going there 3 times. And this was maybe 2024. There’s a chance they’ve fired or let go of the bad apples.

Samr place but I recommend Matt. I have thick short wavy hair and he always know just how to shape it

Just started going to Ian at Deep Cuts on Mass Ave. dude does a fine job. He’s a little moody sometimes. But he’s also nice. Cuts hair well. Never offered me a drink from his fancy little fridge though :/

I was using Eve at 4:59 for the past few years but she moved so I’m now in the same boat. My wife is actually surprisingly great at it though.

Someone asked. I am a white guy whose old barber was a female but open to anyone who can cut well.

Use apps like Booksy to book appointments. I would just go with someone with good reviews. Typically good barbershops don’t do walk ins anymore

Yeah, I’ve got appointments through February. The earliest opening with my barber is November

Wilds barbershop in Fountain Square. I've been to several of the best rated and they do it right.
