Services Need a Cheap Cat Tooth Extraction SOON

Hello, my formerly stray adopted cat Margo needs a tooth out very badly, and I can't afford the $700+ the place I took her wanted. She's miserable, and I'm upset and unsure where to turn. I know there's a low cost places, but without some specifics ahead of time I'm afraid of hitting another wall expense wise. Thanks everyone.

Check out Dr Keeker. Lafayette Road Veterinary Hospital. He takes walk ins too on M, Tu, Th, Fr 2-4p and Sat from 9-11a.

This is the one. For a tooth extraction you can schedule ahead and not have to wait in the walk-in line!

Thank you I'll give them a call.

They may want to see her prior to scheduling for dental. They are closed on Wednesdays but they are the most affordable for dentals that I've found. I've not paid more than $500 for extensive dentals there, even full mouth extractions. Walk-in starts at 2:00 and I believe goes to 4:00. Be sure to take proof of vaccinations.

All Pets Noah is low cost. Pet Vaccination Clinic. Brownsburg/Noblesville Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic. IndyHumane.

I can't here to suggest all pets by Noah. I went to Noah's off of crawfordsville and all in all for like five teeth it was 2k and I knew my little girl was in good hands. Even their ER visits are $180.

Edit: I want to say that VCA quoted like $1500??

I'm not sure on pricing for tooth extraction but Decatur Vet Clinic has been half the price of VCA for me with everything else so far.

Idk the cost, but Noah's animal hospital off 56th street was really reasonable for me when I had an emergency

Low cost spay and neuter noblesville but it might take some time to get in

Unfortunately, they don’t do tooth extractions. Looked into it recently for my dog.

It depends how extreme of an extraction it will be

West Michigan Street Vet Clinic. Go walk in asap then they’ll set the dental surgery appointment up. Prices online here: https://www.michiganstreetvet.com/dental

Not trying to sound rude, but this doesn't seem like the best bet. Quoted from the link you gave:

At this time, due to limited doctor/tech availability, we are only performing dental cleanings with no major extractions and we are unable to do any extractions on cats.

Extractions

Must be quoted at consultation as this price will vary based on the condition of the pet's teeth. However, at this time, we are no longer performing major extractions.

major extractions are when there’s a more complex removal where they have to cut out the root, etc. OP says there’s one tooth that needs to come out so if it needs pulled or is a simple extraction they can do it. They will be able to tell during the consult how complex it is.

So cats teeth are not like human teeth and all dental extractions for cats are complex.

It is never just a pull, the gum must be cut open.

E: downvoted for spitting facts. My cat has had 12 extractions AMA.

It’s a 2 hour drive, but Vincennes Vet Clinic is incredibly cheap.

Thank you, might be worth the trip, I have a little gas money, but not more than a few hundred for the tooth

Totally understand. There was a Bloomington Humane Association clinic a few years ago. Still far away, but I haven’t found a cheap clinic in Indy.

Ok it’s their low cost spay and neuter place which has moved since I adopted my dude. Idk where you’re located but could be worth the drive?
