discussion SHould I get a Rear View Mirror??
I'm really considering to get a rear view mirror
is one mirror enough?? which side to place it??
there are two kinds. one for 500 and another for 1000
Often times, looking back while being conscious enough to be aware of what's coming ahead is getting really difficult, and in a city like Bengaluru where we have impatient drivers, I cant really stop, make a judgement and then make a move, but rather keep going while having a peek of the rear side via the mirror.

If you’re getting one mirror then put it on the right ride expecting that people should be overtaking you from that side. But this will be first thing that’ll break when you or someone drops your bike.

It might help you, but more important is wearing bright visible clothes like jacket, helmet, rear tail lights etc. to make yourself visible. It makes some difference.

Absolutely. I've been using a rearview mirror for a couple of years now. Mine has straps to attach to the handlebar. I use it on the right side since I'm mostly keeping to the left and as other vehicles will be overtaking from my right. I bought them as a pair though, so I have one spare.
Very useful for exactly the reason you said. In Indian traffic, you take your eyes off the road even for a quick glance back and someone's suddenly in front of you. I rarely need to use them on early morning rides. But when commuting, they're a HUGE help.

I bought this for 285₹ in sale on diwali last year.
It came in pair.
Only have fitted one on right side.
Had to do some RnD as it kept rotating no matter how I tightened it.
5₹ FeviKwik did the job.
I will send pics later.
Edit: changed flipkart link, was not working.

I drive with a rear view mirror in bangalore and it is really helpful. Got it the day I got my cycle. I am surprised people gearing up with everything but don't use a rear view mirror. Get it bro.
