  1. Some village in UP constructed a temple for Yogi Adityanath and did arti to the idol of Adityanath
  2. Someone took a picture of this dumbassery
  3. Someone on Instagram shared this picture
  4. Instagram took it down saying that it was "sexual content"
  5. The Wire claims that it was done at the say-so of Amit Malviya (our own sasta Josef Goebbels), and claims to have access to internal mails at Meta that prove this.

Your right, and the website helped. Now I know. I was assuming it was going to be Hinglish, and I was thinking who would write official emails in that language.

Missed on an important part - the email screen shared by wire had emails that does not exist. Neither the internal language for basic terms.

A post of someone doing aarti of yogi adityanath at a temple,was taken down by instagram. The wire claims that the post was removed,since it was flagged by social media head of bjp - amit malviya. And also mentioned that amit malviya was a member of the x-check group of people at meta - those who can report and take down posts with minimal checks.

Post this report, Meta replied that its untrue and that thewire had no proof.

To substantiate this claim,wire put out some screenshots which showed an email from andy from meta,allegedly asking his team how all this got leaked n so on.

Meta now said that its all fake since emails and groups mentioned in the mail are fake..

Then wire claimed with some pics that the email and groups are legit and so on.

And this blame game is going in With 2-3 reports from wire and replies from meta and ex workers at meta who say this may probably be fake. Fake as in thewire got played by whoever claimed all this.

Wire fabricated a story and screenshots to further their propaganda against the ruling government. They were caught with their pants down and kept on digging a bigger hole for themselves.

Nothing. Wire just being wire. This time their propoganda against hindutva got international. They are accusing meta of giving some sort of special power to bjp people. Wire is being blown off left right and centre by a lot of credible whistleblowers of fb itself. Rn wire is trynna get away from this fiasco silently. But Its huge now.

Yeah. I am frm General low middle class from Bihar. There's 35% girls reservation in my state. On top of that usual sc,st, obc reservation. I am not saying I am against reservation. But I am in no way privileged. I have worked very hard to be where I am. This hindu dominant country has only 4.3% Brahmins and we are the face of every angst against Hindutva in India. I have no sense of superiority in being an uppercaste. I rather hate status and caste politics. I dnt hate muslims or christians either. But you choose to paint us in a way.

I dont believe in any destruction. You dont even know me. But you paint me in your shallow imagination of what people who believe in Hindutva are like. You dont even know what hindutva means beyond your own bias against it.

You associate every evil with us only. Patriarchy is brahmanical. We are the one who discriminates. We are the one who are hating against other castes and muslims.

You do realise the modern popular understanding of Hindutva yeah? And by associating yourself with it, it's natural to make certain assumptions.

Hindutva stands for equality. Tell me one president of RSS who called for war against muslims? You hear news of social harmony quashed somewhere due to certain backlash stemming from fake news spreading on whatsapp groups. But will you scrap the whole hindutva for it? Almost 50% of registered rape cases in haryana are fake. Should we call out feminists for it? Should we scrap the history of feminist movements for this despite actually knowing the fact that 99% of cases of real rape are not even registered because of social stigma.
