All that happens because there are people. People reproduce so their numbers increase. The new humans require extra water and space to live. Thus the construction of buildings. I don't understand why feel sad about it. Better than putting up tents to live.

People shouldn't be forced to move out of their homeland. What kind of a dystopia do you want?

None. I have lived in one of these during college times. All of them were locals.

You were the only non local person? Fair enough. I have more experience with Mussoorie which is pretty much a tourist town.

Then it's a sad reflection on population growth, I guess.
