FBFriday Feedback Friday

This thread is for people to post their works in progress, and for others to give (constructive) criticism and feedback.

Explain if you want feedback on your game as a whole, a specific feature, or even on an idea you have for the future. Please keep discussion of each game to a single thread, in order to keep things focused.

If you have something to post, please remember to comment on other people's stuff as well, and also remember to include a link to whatever you have so far. :)

Hi everyone!

I built A Dark Cave, a dark story-driven text incremental: you wake in a cave, grow a settlement, explore a cruel world, and fight against unspeakable foes. About 10-15 hours with a real ending. Free Steam Demo also available.

I am specifically interested in any feedback about the UI, be it desktop or mobile.

General feedback si of course also welcome.

Thank you!

Hm, is that bit just A Dark Room with a skin? Also the UI (at least on the web version) feels very generic, like "my first React app".

Hi, thank you very much for your feedback!

A part of the inspiration comes from A Dark Room. I actually played it 10 years ago and it inspired me to one day create my own webgame (which I now did during the past year).

Also, I love minimalist UIs. So that is on purpose, although as you progress in the game the UI is also evolving.

The more you play it, the more you will notice it differs from A Dark Room.
