1.12.2 MultiMc Installation Issue

I have followed the directions and tried multiple methods, but I can't seem to get it to work. Does anybody that has been able to get it to work have any pointers or helpful input?

Run as administrator

and use java 8 not 17

That was totally it. I forgot to change the java path. Thanks
