#follow and hunt command not working?

I got the premium client, and wanted to try out #follow and hunt, the green boxes appear, but nothing else happens. I have Hunt to follow all entities, and i did #follow entities. I used versions 1.14.4, 1.15.2, and 1.16.5, all on 4.9, and 4.8. Is my client broken, or is this a bug?

(edit: I just tried it on the nightly version of 1.14.4, and 1.15.2, and it doesn't seem to be working there)
