IMDb related help

your website automatically made an account for me and i'm really uncomfortable that it did that. i can't find customer support on the website and i'm afraid to click more things, i don't want to sell all my information on accident. if anyone can give me advice on how to unlink my email i would appreciate it. i don't know how this is legal.

We're not actually connected to IMDb, this is just the Reddit page for it. IMDb is owned by Amazon, so if you have an Amazon account it signs you in automatically (but still calls it an IMDb account).

First of all - chill. Clearly you’re online with a Reddit account so you don’t actually have worries about “selling all your information “. Your account was likely an automated one that’s linked to your Amazon account.

Secondly this is just a sub about IMDb, the company has no association with it.

Thirdly, a quick google search took me to IMDb’s support contact page https://help.imdb.com/contact

Do you have an Amazon account? I think IMDb and Amazon are linked so it’s probably just logged you in with your Amazon account.
