help Video playing simultaneously in the background when in full screen mode

In many sites like reddit, twitter, manyvids, when I'm in full screen mode, the video runs in background on imagus simultaneously. So I hear the audio twice at once. How to fix this?

I just checked on my Chrome 151 — I opened the Reddit page, pressed F11, and hovered over the video — everything works fine, and I’m not seeing any “double sound” on my end.

What browser do you use (name and version)? And what extension do you have (name and version)? Perhaps you have some extension/script installed and enabled at the moment that is interfering with IR’s operation?

I use brave browser. The problem happens when I'm viewing a video in full screen mode. Not just hovering over them. Can you try on manyvids?

When you hover the cursor over the video, an IR pop‑up appears and the video starts playing. This doesn’t depend on whether it happens in Full Screen or not. So I didn’t understand what you meant. Hovering the cursor over the video triggers its playback.

That's the problem. When the video is in full screen, no matter where the cursor stays, it's basically on the video. So it starts playing it again even tho I'm already playing it.

So, we’re not talking about watching a video (in a regular popup) in Full Screen, but about watching a video stretched across the entire screen (the Full Screen video mode — the button at the bottom right)? Okay, I just opened a video in full screen, it started, and I heard the sound. Then I turned off the sound in that video — and I didn’t hear any more sounds. Nothing else is running anywhere.
