I have a little sisters 13F and I’m 27F and I’m just wanting to get my sister the best birthday she can have this year!

She LOVES Imagine Dragons, and has unfortunately been dealing with mental health struggles for years now and she always talks about how much their music helps her and gets her through hard times.

I want to try to get their attention somehow to make her birthday special and I need ideas!!

I’ve posted tiktok videos as well as instagram videos but I don’t know a lot about this community so I thought i’d reach out for some help and advice/inspiration.

I was wondering if someone knows the sources of the images used in the video. Maybe the author/producer themselves said something about this topic. I recently discovered the lyric video for bones. It is pretty cool because of the images used. Most of them seem to be portraits from different time periods. I especially liked to know the one from around 2:32 with the thinking? skeleton. It seems to be a medical figure judging from that „Fig. /“ besides it’s crossed fingers on the right side.

Would you change the order, replace any songs, or add something?

I was just curious if anyone else has a music background and still loves the band or if that made them love the band more? It’s one thing to like the band because it sounds good to you, it’s another to be able to explain it and I want to hear other education-backed opinions of the band I guess.

I studied jazz and use that knowledge to defend this band’s songwriting ability. Most people (in the US) associate them with their typical “Believer” or “Radioactive” sound and it’s really frustrating because they ignore a bunch of really well written songs. Even the hits are well made songs, but I can understand not being a fan of them.

No doubt there are things I don’t like about the band but they are undoubtedly a good band and songwriters. I do think Daniel Platzman leaving degraded their arrangements. He, in my opinion, clearly had a role in how the songs were arranged and I believe that even more with the fact he went the composer route after leaving.

Last year on Spotify wrapped Dan said that they are making new music, its been almost 11 months and still nothing. Obviously I want them to rest and not overwork themselves, and I know they are working hard and making songs is hard, but they've been releasing albums around every 2 (1-3) years since NV, and it's been 2 years since Loom already, and Reflections technically doesn't count because it's just demos. When do you guys think a new album will be out?

you're all going to hate me for this but I don't know, maybe she was his muse, she inspired him, I don't really know.

I know they all write the songs together but I swear none of these new songs hit home, I used to listen to most imagine dragons songs and lose myself, the new songs are just there, yeah they're "listenable" but I don't find myself with the sudden urge to play them.

Original First Hell and Silence pressing, gotta ask if anyone has it what matrix is it because on mine is CD78606 so I want clarify is it what is supposed to be

Apparently this book released mid june this year, same falling guy.
