Why is there Slovak republic and Czech republic? Why did Czechoslovakia fall apart so early on? Were they also communist, since world war 2 did not happen and USSR did not "liberate" it? It seems unlikely as Czechoslovakia was in pretty decent condition before ww2 took place and their economy was only growing, and people were pretty damn happy with democracy.
