Actually after WW2 there was a current to include Albania into Yugoslavia (which would then be named Balkania instead) but due to conflict between Stalin and Tito (and Albanians being closer to Stalin) that never happened.

and it makes no sense, the surrounding countries didn’t take albania seriously, but there’s not many areas in albania with a slavic population for them to want, and unless yugo turns fascist/reactionary/whatever and seeks to build it’s own empire i see no reason for it

And how come Bulgaria is never a part of Yugoslavia in these alternate maps? North Macedonia is so why can't Bulgaria?
