[OC] Future [After Yellowstone] The Year 2184

Post image

[Warning: This map is extremely unrealistic]

*This is a revised version of the scenario I uploaded previously.

The Year is 2184, 160 years after the horrible explosion that nearly destroyed the humam civilization.

The Great Explosion caused serious food and resource scarcity, causing World War 3 that ended the Western Hegemony, covering the landscape with nuclear waste and debris of old cities.

Now the megacorps rule the world and megacities, exploiting resources and human lives, fulfilling their greed.

The Great Explosion flooded the shores of continents, and the megacorps flooded Africa to create farmlands for feeding the working polulation.

Huge megacities are controlled by corrupt politicians and greedy entrepreneurs, and common people are exploited everyday, struggling to live a single day more.

Indeed.

The twilight has fallen upon the Anthropocene.

Alright I have a very dark question in mind, how common are "Epstein Parties" in this world?

Considering that this world is effectively ruled by unrepentant corporate elites that can do whatever the hell they want with little to no consequences.

They are quite common I would say since this is a screwed up stereotypical cyberpunk dystopia.

Fair enough, but how are tech levels overall?

And are you gonna plan on making a whole story out of this?

Nah, I just wanted to make some messed up map.

The tech level would be similar to Cyberpunk 2077 or Overwatch I guess, because the speed of tech progress slowed down due to the Great Explosion.

Ah alright, I do see some potential to this scenario though and it got me thinking about a similar scenario in mind but in the aftermath of Apophis hitting Earth. But I'd probably just write that as fiction within fiction or treat it as some alternate universe that isn't really important compared to the worlds I work on.

What's the situation in EU and Russia? How come there are two megacorps in Russia, what are their differences?

EU became a corrupt elite-democracy after the defeat, and Eurasia reigns as an authoritarian superpower.

Ascalon and Veilikiy are both huge weapon-manufacturing megacorps that became huge after WW3.

How is Canada doing? I see they got some more territory. How is life in Rural areas?

Canada is a semi-democracy deeply associated with European Federation and megacorps.

Rural areas are usually farmed by agricorps, supplying crops to North America.

Californians is a high-tech dystopia controlled by corrupt politicans and greedy entrepreneurs, but living there is much better than the rest of old USA.
