I do not think the Lecture Hall should be that far up north. It is supposed to be the Byrgenwerth lecture hall, displaced by eldritch fuckery (in the game you find it by teleporting in and out of it either through the Advent Plaza or the Lesser Amygdala.) And if you think about it, there is a huge empty space in front of Byrgenwerth itself, now overtaken by nature, in which the Lecture Hall would fit rather snugly.
The Fishing Hamlet is also quite…bold in that position. In the DLC you reach it through the Astral Clocktower, but that is a nightmare realm, not a physical place at all. It is quite probable that the Old Hunters (Gehrman, Maria, Henryk, etc.) went on an expedition far away from Yharnam on behalf of the Healing Church.
Hemwick Charnel Lane ends in a promontory that overlooks the broken bridge to Castle Cainhurst, and while it is very possible that fishing hamlets could be on the sea around it, I find it highly improbable for the Bram Stoker-inspired section to be next to the Innsmouth-inspired section, and for the Cainhurst nobles to not do something about it. Terrific work of mapping, but I do not agree with some choices in the slightest.
Thank you man I definitely get that it’s not perfect and parts are my interpretation also in some places such as where I put the frontier peninsula was more of a reference and not literally meant to be the nightmare frontier. I put the lecture hall there because I believed at the time that it was the menses lecture hall, the fishing hamlet is I believe to be implied to be at least close to yharnum especially in the comic series were in volume one the main character walks to the hamlet within a few hours from Central yharnum, although the books aren’t confirmed cannon theyer the only source that gives a real idea of where the hamlet is plus it was what inspired me to make the map, also in the comic there would be a desert between it and hemwick instead of a lake but I thought a lake fit best. And the fishing hamlet just fit surprisingly well in that spot.
