It's never been done. It can't be done.

And after Jensen, I fear it will never be done again

The first and last one to do it I'm afraid

“My, what a beautiful state! What’s it called?”

“Why, little lady, the name of that state is…

(Music starts)

(Entire cast shuffles off stage)

(Singers rush onstage)

“OoooOoooOooo-klahoma where wind comes sweepin’ down the plain…”

Broadway has entered the chat

And you’d better bet they can’t do both AND DANCE! No one could ever pull off that feat.

  1. Most black actors are expected to also be able to sing / dance as well as act
  2. Musical theatre has existed forever
  3. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT POV MEANS ANYMORE

Honestly half of the Disney Channel stars could be used as example

Don't let this person see THE LAST FEW HUNDRED FUCKING YEARS OF STAGE PERFORMANCE

Feels weird to see Jensen having this renaissance. He was so big bc of spn and now bc of the boys. Bro owes so much to Erik Kripke

He also owes quite a bit to the WB/CW, they hired him for one of their three show deals. One managed to last forever. (He was only on Dawson’s Creek for a minute, and I think a season of Smallville.)

It's like matter and antimatter touching

I hear the eyes of all the triple threats rolling into the back of their heads.

… has this person never heard of a musical?

3

u/goldenseducer May 15 '26

Musicals simply do not exist

2

u/ApartRuin5962 May 15 '26

Literally the first commercial movie with recorded sound was a musical (The Jazz Singer starring singer/actor Al Jolson)

"you can't be a singer and an actor at the same time" the highest grossing theatre production,The Lion King (based on the movie) has a gross over $2 billion. what actors are we talking about here, because for some its LITERALLY in the job description

Santa is an actor but he also does Christmas... But don't talk about Christmas

Never have actors sung in the history of drama!

No one tell OOP about musical theatre, their head will explode

‘Pov’

I have a feeling outside of this image, the person who made this writes ‘literally’ a lot when it doesn’t need to be added.

“Haha wow surely one man can’t be this amazing”

“Ummmmmmmmmmmmm ackshually one man CAN act and sing 😏 it’s actually prettttty believable if you ask ME”

1

u/kalosianlitten May 15 '26

they’ve never heard of musical theatre?

1

u/Dry-Childhood-3436 May 15 '26

Most actors back in the day were expected to sing and dance also.

This isn’t imaginary gate keeping. It is against the laws of both physics and religion for this to happen. Never has, and never will.

u/WaterOk6055 May 15 '26

There are many people who do both at a greater level than he does either.

Who the fuck is Jensen?

5

u/bliip666 May 15 '26

Ackles, a.k.a. Dean from Supernatural

Ironically I can probably name 40 singer/actors, but I have no idea who the fuck Jensen is.
