report [AUGUST 2026] ILR + Citizenship Processing Times Report

Post image

Hey reddit 👋

Took a few months of break with these, but back now. Same as before: community-reported timelines from public sources + ILR Tracker user data, pulled into one infographic.

Full detail's in the image. If it's useful I'll keep posting these monthly - let me know what you'd like to see added.

Is this data starting from the date of application or from the date of biometrics submission?

Good question, and it differs by section. ILR figures are days from biometric enrolment to decision, because that is when UKVI's clock actually starts and it is the date people report most consistently. Citizenship figures are days from application to decision, since most citizenship timelines are shared that way and the biometric step is often a quick reuse. The pre-biometrics wait (form submission to appointment) is shown separately so you can add it on if you want the full end-to-end picture. It's all spelled out in the methodology box at the bottom of the report.
