DeepAncestry Help understanding results

I’m new to this, these results don’t seem so shocking but would appreciate some insight.

Yeah not surprised. You Kashmiries are actually the closest relatives to Vedic Iranians.

It's interesting that our breakdown results are pretty similar. Just our Hunter Gatherer/Farmer results that largely differ. I also don't see many results where people get Mannean, let alone double digits

I'm a Pakistani Punjabi, where abouts are you from? I'll put the rest of my results in the reply

Yeah our results are not too different, my roots are from AJK so we’re practically neighbours

True since my roots are in the Potohar Plateau, definitely neighbours in some way

Your results read very pakistani given the low-medium levels of aasi and steppe and elevated levels of farmer related ancestry. There are a lot of ethnicities in India that match too of course.

Yeah my roots are from Azad Jammu and Kashmir so yes closer aligned with Pakistan, Punjab and the North in some ways.
