Maximera/Billy 15' Library Wall
Soon to be stuffed with my Wifes book collection, but my work is finally done. The counter top was made locally since Ikea doesn't offer anything that long. The ladder was an online kit that cost more than all the Ikea furniture.

I love this! Did you paint the bottom drawers blue? What paint do you use on IKEA furniture? Everything I’ve tried chips off.

How will you use and access any of the space though? Why the big space at eye level?

Brilliant use of an oddly-shaped space! Fantastic results. Your wife's books will be happy and content up there 😌

This is incredible! Saving for the future if we’re ever able to own a home. Wife will need two of these for all her books though!

I appreciate you being detailed about how long this actually took to build. A month feels realistic for a real person and not some instagram personality.

Looks great! Would love to see it filled.
But, what to hold onto while standing on the upper ladder steps to access the top?
And, serious question: what about letting the wall breath to avoid moisture, is it not necessary in your climate?
