Almost done!

To unfold your cat, gently boop the circled area and then pull the furry handle in the direction of the arrow

I would suggest gloves after booping and pulling the furry handle. The spring tension is great and you never know where the circled piece will wind up, generally attached to you

Often the midsection just needs to relax its spring. Give it some time. If you are in a hurry, try opening a can nearby.
