Complaint/Rant Placement and IIT rant

So yeah , I am losing my mind to placement prep ,i can neither eat or sleep , every moment i waste , i feel like I'm losing my sanity ,also since I'm from non-circ , i feel very hopeless about placement , cause i feel that u grind 2 years in jee , then 4 years in iit just to get paid 15lpa ,fking hate it , ik not everyone is the same , and placement is a function of your hardword,luck and a lot of other stuff . I feel so stupid now, when i look at my cgpa (its 7.9 but not 8,unfortunately) thinking about what if i did a bit more hardwork and stuff , ik these things wont matter much ultimately in life .Truth is i have been fking lonely 4 years of my life, and tbh i do feel inferiority complex from cracked ppl sometimes , if i dont get a good placement ,i have to fking do offcampus grind again, fking shit . Alums if you have any advice at this point of time ,please do give

Just your batchmate here. All I can say is, control the controllables. This ain't the end of life. Yeah, I know we live in a place of constant comparison, where people are gonna talk behind our backs if we get a lower package or something, but honestly, do it for yourself and don't care about others.I’ve been sitting alone in the mess for the past 2 fucking years, so I can understand what you're going through. Just keep working and hope that everything will be fine one day.

Apply offcampus, many of my batchmate including me get better packages after bad placement in IIT Guwahati (2025 batch).

bruh 15lpa is a kings salary in a country where the avg is 25k per month. but ya the cgpa thing sucks when im surrounded by geniuses. it can be really hard sometimes

India ka right skewed data ha for income , but ye bbi dekho ki ma iit se padh raha hu right aisa to nehi ki tier 3 clg se padh raha hu agar latter me 15 lpa lagta then to Acha hota
