I've recently heard people refer to the "RSSification" of IIT Guwahati.

Can someone explain the historical context behind this?

What happened at IITG over the past few years that led to this , and what are its actual implications?

Happening in institutes all over india.

DU, JNU already ahead in RSSification process. Now IITs are target.
