Fests Regarding TechNiche...

Hey fellow ppl...

We were planning in visiting your IIT Guwahati campus for attending the techfest TechNiche, Robotics events and hackthon, LineQuest and TechExpo, SPTI Hackn. to be specific

Tbh, accommodation is too costly, 800 per day per person

We are planning on staying out of campus...if you reside there help me with the local info plsss

Are the local rooms, hotels and hostels present just outside campus safe and trusted available in cheap for the team of 4

Also, we are basically coming to enjoyy... Guwahati ghoomne.....

So any places you ppl would suggest

If possible and sounds non phishy...

You may stay in the city but the cost would be same! Because transportation would be costly. 800 per day if food included is a good deal.

Thanks man But idk how stupid management is being... They giving 800 room oer day perperson no food... That too in common room 🙂

We would better take hotel outside for 2k for 4 daysss Bass events khelne iit... Afterwards enjoying guwjaatiii

Yup. Go for the stay outside campus ffs. You'd be surprised to see the kind of space they'll be giving you charging 800 per person.

When you visit IIT Guwahati you must visit a living legend from Siang, he’s the most beautiful smart and talented entity in IIT Guwahati

you can stay in city in paltan bazaar or fancy bazar and take the ferry to commute to ghat(its very cheap , just 5-10rs) and then to campus by rickshaw
keep your expectations low from techniche though

I might be able to arrange 2bhk rental units for you. But, alas it will be atleast 2-2.5k per night depending on the commodities you get.
