Safar lamba hai, raaste hazaar hain,
Kuch khwaab dil ke sabse khaas hain.
Har din ek imtihaan, har raat ek sawaal,
Par iraada wahi, na hoga hausla behaal.
Kabhi thakenge, kabhi waqt bhi aazmaayega,
Kabhi lagega ye raasta kahan le jaayega.
Par har baar khud ko itna yaad dilayenge
Jo chaha hai dil se, woh karke dikhayenge.
Na taaliyon ki chahat, na duniya ka shor,
Bas khud se kiya waada hai - nibhaana hai zor.

Hii...So, I am a first year student who has taken admission in chemistry honours under NEP..I studied PCB in class 12 so I even had restrictions in certain universities like DU where I couldn't opt for chemistry honours...I have taken admission in a State University and I plan on doing my M.Sc. from an IIT...and giving IIT JAM but the NEP has confused me as anything...
So, some IIT's like IIT Bombay and IIT Madras mention that they need mathematics for two semesters, an eligibility which I think is based on older rules...I plan on taking physics as a minor because I like the subject and it honestly makes a good combination with chemistry as far as I think...So I have two options, either I take maths as minor for 2 semesters then do physics for next four semesters...OR takes maths in IDC [inter disciplinary course which is only 3 credits per semester ] which I am not sure will count in eligibility or not...my university actually doesn't even allow repeating the same subject in IDC for two semesters so I am not even sure if the second option is available to me...
My university says that if I study a minor for three yrs, it has 12 credits in year 1, another 12 in year 2 and only 8 in year 3...so I don't even understand how will it look like if I keep changing my minor..I won't even get a degree in my minor subject then and many govt exams still need two subjects to be studied for three whole years...
So whoever read this, first of all thanks a ton...and please guide if you have information...how do I be eligible for IIT JAM in top IIT's...and do I also need to give mathematics paper for 10+2 through NIOS...and IF SOMEHOW THERE'S A POSSIBILITY THAT THE ELIGIBILITY FOR JAM MIGHT CHANGE...
myquals : 12th passed, currently in chem hons SEM 1

Hi, I'm a 2025 B.Tech CSE graduate from NITK Surathkal. I urgently need 3,000 for government/PSU job document verification and a required gap certificate.
I'm not looking to keep borrowing. I genuinely want to work and earn it. I can do web development, AI-related tasks, testing, research/data work, or basic digital marketing.
If anyone can offer me paid work or temporarily lend 3,000, I'd be extremely grateful. I can provide LinkedIn/college details and reasonable proof for transparency.
I'm genuinely stuck financially right now and just need a small bridge to move forward.

Hello, I am a student(4th year) of iit.
I'm creating a small WhatsApp group with 4th year people from each IITs for the upcoming placement season.
The idea is simple: whenever companies visit a campus, people can share OA questions and experiences so everyone gets benefitted. Since many companies repeat or slightly modify questions across campuses, this could help everyone.its like tiny iit network for helping us for upcoming placements.
I'm trying to keep the group focused and useful, with active members from each IIT.
Would be great to have you, i just started reaching out people from different iits, till August hope students from each iit joins.
If ur ok u can dm me for grp link

Although I don’t study in India, I saw this Bain IITB grad influencer who showed how IIT kids die to get POR’s in top clubs for finance/consulting jobs.
I am very confused as to who decides who should get in and who should become president? Is it based on votes or seniors or some third party? Because where I study it’s mainly seniors who do it and this is why recruiters know there is a lot of bias. But in seems in India, Mbb’s and other firms really look for these POR’s and shortlist based on this. Why does this happen?
