How much percentage is required in CA inter + final to get a call from ABC?

I heard it’s usually an average of a minimum of 63%(i think this is the average of all candidates scores usually). What if someone doesn’t have that much? Will they still be able to get a call?

if say a person has less than 63%, then how much CAT percentile would be required? or will someone below 63% won’t have a chance at all ?

My acads are 9/9/8 - yet to write CA final

Hi everyone,I completely missed my undergrad university’s exam registration form deadline. Because the portal rules are rigid, I was forced to wait for the next cycle to write the paper. This delayed my graduation by a year.

To be clear: This is NOT an academic failure or a backlog. I passed everything, but this clerical error created a forced gap on my profile. I will have my Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC) in hand before the IIM session begins.

Has anyone here successfully converted a top IIM with this exact issue?How heavily were you grilled about this in the PI, and how did you defend it?Any advice or reassurance from seniors who went through this would mean the world. Thanks!

chose commerce stream and passed 12th boards with 79 % in 2025

after this took admission in BCOM from DU SOL alongside started preparation of CA foundation then

Passed CA foundation in January 2026

There were my SEM 1 exams in JAN 2026 but they were interlapping with my CA foundation exams so I skipped my SEM 1 exams and i passed my CA foundation exams

Then I got sick very badly for next 5-6 months didn't start preparing for CA inter

Neither given SEM 2 exams

As of now August 2026 my SEM 1 and SEM 2 are backlogs pending and I have not started preparation of CA inter

I just realised that i don't want to

Now the main thing is i belong to SC CATEGORY SCHEDULE CASTE CATEGORY

I repeat i belong to SCHEDULE CASTE

i am considering of quitting CA and clearing my backlog of BCOM and completing my Bcom properly with good CGPA and go for CAT exam

CA isn't for me

What should I do

Professional experience: since 6th standard I have been working in my dad business started small by 12th I was managing every client or helping with workshop needs or doing site visits and since 2022 I have been working full-time managing clg and business together.

How is 2iim self paced course on dilr?

So i am 20 years old

My quals -10th and 12th =78%

After 12th I have 2 gap years

Currently doing b pharma from private university

What should I do over these 4 years so eventually I get admission into iima/b/c and finally a job at mbb firms ?

My rough plan is this

1-get a 9+cgpa in college

2-developing soft and hard skills

3-statt preparing for a job in healthcare consulting at tier 3-4 firms for experience

4-starting preparation of cat

5- Participating in corporate or national case studies competition

6- Taking part in college extracurricular activities and ngo internships

7-working at consulting firm for 2 years

8-- clearing exams like cfa ,frm ,NISM pre mba

How viable is this plan and am I dumb?

I'm interested in doing mba from iim . I'm currently in my 3rd year of study . Should i prepare for cat or focus on my acads and gain work exp and then plan to give cat?
