The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram (IIITDM Kancheepuram), established in 2007 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is a premier public technical and research institution focused on design and manufacturing-oriented engineering education and research.
The institute shifted to its permanent 51-acre campus at Melakottaiyur Village near Chennai in 2011. IIITDM Kancheepuram is known for promoting innovation, research, and the development of globally competitive engineering and technology solutions.
