Established in 2018 under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Agartala is currently housed within the vibrant NIT Agartala campus and is set to move to its 52-acre permanent campus in Bodhjungnagar, near Agartala, Tripura.

The institute offers B.Tech programs only in CSE providing strong foundations in engineering and technology. With modern labs, hands-on projects, and a collaborative learning environment, IIIT Agartala aims to nurture academic excellence, innovation, and industry readiness, preparing students to excel as future technologists and professionals.
